The Casa Verdi Guest House is situated at the Southern tip
of Costa Azahar and at the Northern end of the Costa Blanca in an unspoilt
area of Spain.
The region sits atop the largest underground lake in Europe. There
are paddie fields to the north and with a backdrop of Pine clad mountains
to the west. Lying below the mountains there are orange and lemons
groves as far as the eye can see where church towers pop up out of
the greenery marking numerous villages. To the east of the area there
are a handful of small resorts with sand dunes and beaches stretching
for some 20 kilometres from Gandia in the north to Denia in the south.
Gandia, the main city for this region is a bustling wealthy commercial
and cultural centre where there are art and music festivals throughout
the year starting with the World renowned Fira Festival in March of each
year. Gandia is an unspoilt Spanish city with tree lined paseos where
the Spanish inhabitants and visitors promenade during the hot summer
evenings along pedestrian ways with a multiplicity of boutiques and small
squares with café bars where the locals meet for morning coffee
and brandy and spend the warm spring and summer evenings chatting and
watching the world go by.
Many local fiestas are planned throughout the year including Moors and
Christians during June and July and village fiestas throughout the Spring
and Summer to late Autumn.
A stay at CASA VERDE situated at the centre of a small tranquil village
offers numerous options including GOLFING, WALKING, PAINTING or just
RELAXING and enjoying the local atmosphere and culture. It is also an
ideal location for those visitors seeking a new home in this totally
civilised and Spanish area.
